John’s essay “Retirement Gifts” appeared in Issue 21 of Dark Mountain, an anthology of non-fiction, fiction, poetry, and artwork that revolves around the theme of confluence. The essay was originally published in October 2021 in John’s Ghost Dance blog.
A Hundred Little Pieces Wins Honorable Mention
The Idaho Library Association awarded an Honorable Mention to John’s book, A Hundred Little Pieces on the End of the World, in their 2020 Idaho Book of the Year Awards.
